Can't register after newly cloned app

Just cloned the latest dev build, asside from whatever errors I got trying to install, I cannot seem to register a new user account. At first the email and confirm emails didn't match (for some reason it was using compare_email instead), however the same issue is there with passwords, and I don't know why that ones not working.

I don't think this is resolved. The password confirmation field has the same glitch, but I can't figure out why.

im having serious issues with my repo everything is just going to a redirect loop so i need to fix that first, then ill have another look
